New-Mac Electric’s 2020 Special Meeting will be held from 8-11 a.m., Oct. 31, in the parking lots of Crowder College in Neosho.
This is a “drive-through” meeting, so participants will complete their experience in a matter of minutes without leaving their vehicle.
In order to participate, the entire “2020 Special Meeting Notice” booklet must be brought to the meeting. Those who bring their booklet and register in person at the meeting will have a $20 electric credit applied to their main membership account and be eligible for drawings for five $250 and ten $100 electric credits. Prize drawings will occur on the Monday following the meeting.
Registered participants have the option to vote in the Board of Directors election prior to 11 a.m. Those wanting to ensure their opportunity to vote should plan on arriving early as the election will end at 11 a.m. No votes will be received after that time.
Capital credits checks were mailed Oct. 20 to those eligible members who received power from New-Mac Electric in 1999. If you did not receive a check or have questions, call our Billing Department at 417-451-1515. There will be no checks distributed at the Special Meeting.
In an effort to comply with CDC and local health department guidelines, there will be no food or snacks of any kind distributed at the meeting, nor will there be any Halloween candy available for trick-or-treaters (We apologize and appreciate your understanding). Prizes will be limited to the electric credit drawings which will take place Monday, Nov. 2.
