Member Services Representative Job Summary:

New-Mac Electric Cooperative, Inc., a rural electric distribution cooperative servicing 19,500 homes and businesses in Southwest Missouri, seeks a Member Services Representative.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will exhibit strong written/verbal communications skills; have basic knowledge of electricity, HVAC systems and residential construction; possess excellent personal computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office products. Some basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

You must have the ability to manage your own time, priorities, and resources to achieve goals; work and think independently with little direct supervision; and prepare and present presentations of complex materials. Candidates must have strong public speaking skills with small and large groups. Outstanding positive personal skills in dealing with co-workers and members are required.

Education and Experience:

Qualifications include a two-year degree preferably in marketing, communications, customer service background, electrical-related field of study or equivalent. A four-year degree is preferred.
