  • must be submitted within 90 days of purchase 
  • system must carry a minimum HSPF2 rating of 8.1 as verified by AHRI
  • rebates are limited to a max 10 ton residential per facility
  • rebates are limited to a max 50 ton commercial per facility

  • must be submitted within 90 days of purchase 
  • not to exceed 50 percent of total cost
  • must be ENERGY STAR rated
  • for new construction or replacement of a non-ENERGY STAR unit

HP REBATE

 

HEAT PUMP WATER HEATER REBATE

  • must be submitted within 90 days of purchase 
  • not to exceed 50 percent of total cost
  • The minimum UEF for a heat pump style water heater is 2.2
  • must be ENERGY STAR rated
  • must be a 40-gallon tank or larger
  • for new construction or replacement of unit below .9 efficiency
  • limit two per address
MINI SPLIT

 

DUCTLESS MINI-SPLIT HEAT PUMP REBATE 

  • must be submitted within 90 days of purchase 
  • new system equipment only
  • the system equipment cannot be equipped with electric auxiliary heat
  • must carry a minimum SEER2 rating of 15.2 as verified by AHRI
  • for residential customers only

GROUND-SOURCE HEAT PUMP REBATE

  • must be submitted within 90 days of purchase 
  • must be at least 19.1 EER water-to-air first tier for closed loop and second tier is for open loop systems with an average rated EER efficiency of 23.1
  • the water-to-water first tier is for closed loop systems with average rated EER of 18.1 and the second tier is for open loop systems with an average rated EER efficiency of 22.1
  • must provide documentation of Manual J load calculation
  • $150 per ton is available if only the indoor unit needs replaced
  • 10 tons or more must be pre-approved 
  • must meet minimum insulation requirements (R-38 for ceiling. R-13 for walls) 
  • indoor unit must have at least a 3 EER improvement over the old unit 
  • for residential customers only

In order to qualify for a rebate, New-Mac must receive a completed rebate form and a copy of the purchase receipt within 90 days of the date of purchase. Rebate forms are available below and at both the Neosho and Anderson offices.

Rebates will be applied to a future New-Mac bill in the form of an energy credit.
